Student Veteran Resource Center (SVRC) at Wayne State University
As a Gold-level Veteran-Friendly School recognized by the Michigan Veterans Affairs Agency (MVAA), Wayne State offers numerous resources and support for veterans, including academic assistance, career services, and a strong community of fellow veterans.
The Student Veteran Resource Center (SVRC) serves as a safe haven for veterans to build partnerships, collaborate, and engage in activities that foster academic success.
Eligibility:
- Currently registered students with a valid OneCard
- Veterans or active-duty military members
- Military dependents using VA Educational Benefits
- Contract members of the WSU ROTC

- Dayroom Side:
- Small kitchen
- Comfortable lounge with Satellite TV
- Tables for lunch and socializing
- Pool table
The SVRC Manager coordinates tutoring, workshops, mentoring, and manages the staff of VA work-study students.
Hours of Operation:
- Monday - Friday: 8:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
- Open all 3 semesters, from the first day of classes to the last day of finals.
- Closed when the university is closed.
